Alright, so here is the deal. I have clearly not been posting often enough or playing enough for this goal. Also I don't foresee me having much free time in the near future. Soooooo, I probably won't make my goal, yah yah big shock, BUT I will continue this blog until I either get bored of it or quite poker or something. Oh yeah, I'm 22 tomorrow. WooT.

Due to school and not playing any poker at all really. I'll be back at it soon enough.
Are the best thing ever. I think I'd be starving to death here in
Pullman without them. Ace loves em too. For those of you
who don't know who Ace is here is a pic!
Anyways, yesterday. Was a goot day. I crushed a few sit and
go sessions towards the end of the day including winning a sattellite
into the $530 tourney today. I just unregistered and took the
money though. I also played a couple MTTs like the 11 rebuy, 5
rebuy, 20 deepstacks, and 109 deepstacks. Can't say I did too
well in any of them. Although I moneyed the 5 rebuy. Here
is how I busted out of the 109 deepstacks. Enjoy.
Here's the number:
Day 17: 80.40% (Yeah, still in red but soon to change to better and prettier colors... like green)
Nothing much to report in poker. I basically broke even yesterday in sit and go's even after sending an e-mail to Pokerstars support saying that their site was rigged. I was hoping to convince them to let me win. So instead of putting any poker crap on here I'll just post some pictures.
Here are some from the ski trip to Canada.
Day 16: 69.92%
Lets just say it has been bad and leave it as that. I am now
keeping track of all of the hands I play that get all-in pre to see
exactly how I do.
On a good note my parents sent me a hilarious B-Day card about
bunnies. I got a kick out of it. I also beat Kyle/Sheep in
13 straight games of 8-ball smashing his previous record of beating me
11 times in a row. He pretty much cried. I read an article
for English 402 thats argument was the best kind of
technical/professional writing involves candy coating the truth.
So I guess the class is supposed to teach me how to lie to my bosses
better for their mental health.
Anyways, I'll have some good poker news to report real soon, promise.

Day 15 (HALFWAY!): 72.62% :)
No poker yesterday. Instead I worked on a math assignment for about 10 hours. Prolly still fail it too :)
I know I know. I am a very inconsistent blogger, especially for one who is running a challenge and should be giving daily updates. Well, there has been quite a bit of action going on pokerwise for me. Not much on Friday however. Once I got back from classes I went and worked out with Devin at the Rec. Center. We ran 1.75 miles again and then lifted a lot of different lifts since we had 2 hours to burn while waiting for Jamie. Eventually we tired out of lifting and decided to ride the bikes. I rode 2.3 miles in 10 minutes which is about 13 mph. Then we swam. I got back and I think this was the day I cooked enchiladas. Maybe that was Thursday. That night I went and saw the movie Children of Men. It was crazy. The premise was that all women became infertile for unknown reasons in about 2008ish and the movie took place about 2027ish. The world, of course, had fallen into a state of chaos... except Britain! Which was only 99% chaotic. There was some stuff about political battles and stuff but the main point was Clive Owen being a regular hero. The best part of the movie was the way the camera work was done. There was a lot of first person and up close action. It was good stuff.
So Saturday I actually played poker. I played the $5 rebuy, the
$22 deepstacks, and the $109 deepstacks. I moneyed the rebuy but
didn't go too far, busted just outside of the money in the $22, and
Fted the $109 deepstacks. I ended up busting out in 7th after
getting outplayed, kinda. Basically, the button makes a standard
3x raise pre, I repop from the small blind to 9x and he smooth
calls. I have ATo by the way. The flop come AK4 and I bet
out more then half his stack and he shoves. I have to call and he
flips over a set of kings. OOOOOOOOOPS! I was then small
stacked and busted just a few hands later while shoving J4 into the big
blind who called with Q9. That was a pretty big dissapointment
because I felt like I was the only real aggressor at the table and had
plans of running the table after that reraise. In that tournament
an amazing thing happened. The stars aligned I guess you could
say. Kyle almost had a heart attack. Oh yeah, Kyle is
finally back to Pullman after about 2 months of random trips.
So I had a nice up day on Saturday. Then Sunday rolls around and I decide to get back to my bread and butter and play some sngs. That went miserably and I went 1 for 12 in cashes and the cash came in the smallest buyin I played and for the minimal cash amount. So the two days basically cancelled each other out. Then I did some math homework because I have two big assignments due tomorrow. I'll be doing that today as well. Sigh.
Here is the everimportant number:
Day 13: 82.40%
I have to run here in about 3 minutes so this will be short and sweet. Played 16 sngs, 4 1sts, 1 3rd. Down a little bit.
Day 10: 81.92%
During current Hold'em session you were dealt 969 hands and saw flop:
- 65 out of 129 times while in big blind (50%)
- 39 out of 133 times while in small blind (29%)
- 79 out of 707 times in other positions (11%)
- a total of 183 out of 969 (18%)
Pots won at showdown - 28 of 48 (58%)
Pots won without showdown - 112
There are my stats for the
cash game session I played yesterday. I am a lot more comfortable
with these then with the ones from the day before. I only played
4 tables at once and was really concentrating on playing my A
game. Thing were going great until this happened.
I should have folded my set and I knew it but for some reason I didn't want to even though I was 99.9% sure I was beat. So after this hand I got off all my tables and called it a session.
Hand 3
Hand 4
Hand 5
Hand 6
This last hand is a great example of how to turn a misclick into a monster pot. Another great lesson from the Othster.
Day 8: 84.94%
Oh Yeah, here are things that I find amazingly humurous late at night while procrastinating.
Thankyou Aaron for showing me this
Classic, just classic, I can't stop laughing
